5) Within 24 hours of your consultation you will receive the full audio from the call to review as many times as you’d like to get every last drop of value from the call. You can download this to your computer, iPod, burn it to a CD etc. and listen to it whenever you want. Remember: You get all of this before I receive a penny from you. It’s in my best interest of course - the more money that I make you - the more money I figure you’ll want to send me in thanks. (valued at $20)
6) Within 48 hours you will receive a follow up email that will include my reflections and guidance on next steps. It may also include additional materials and resources that I think could be useful. I tend to spend about 30 minutes on this. (valued at $100)

Let me be very clear on what this could be worth for you.
First of all, many marketing consultants charge between $200-$5000 per hour for their consultations.
If you don't believe me, go and check it out yourself. The reason that these consultants charge so much is because they get results (and, being real, a lot are greedy and think their time is worth more than everyone else’s etc). But still, when clients apply the laser-focused advice that they receive they often make more money... a lot more money. Or they are stopped from making some really expensive mistakes. Either is well worthwhile.
Personally, I charge $100 per half hour. I could charge more, but I value accessibility more than I do obscene profitability. I value a fair profit - not the maximum possible profit.

Does that sound like it's "too good to be true"?
It’s understandable.
For years now I’ve made my living by offering workshops on a PWYC basis all around
They want people, rightly enough, to value what they’re receiving and so they charge $2000 for a weekend. But consider this: the more people there are in the room, the more money I make – WITH NO EXTRA PERSONAL TIME.
Does that make sense?
That was the big reason PWYC made sense – I got so many more people saying “yes” that it made financial sense even if I wasn’t paid “full price”.

But that’s NOT true with one on one consulting. It is absolutely the most time consuming thing I can do.
It takes 2 hours of my time - every single time I do it.
Business wise, this may be a poor decision on my part.
So, why am I offering it?
An experiment.
I’m 31 years old, unattached, no children or permanent home. If I want to try outlandish propositions and make, quite honestly, very risky offers, this is the time in my life to do that.
Still, it likely sounds like there's probably a lot of secret, hidden catches?
Well, there are some catches, but they're not hidden or "secret”. I think you will agree they are very fair and reasonable. Let me tell you about the four “catches”.

***IMPORTANT*** - The Four Catches
- One ride per customer per six months. You can only receive ONE pay what you can session with me per six months. Each session will last a maximum of 90 minutes and you must show up on time for your session.
- You’ve got to be SERIOUS about taking your business to the next level. No offense, but most entrepreneurs aren’t really serious about making their business a beautiful thing. I don’t enjoy working with folks who aren’t.
You must be open to receiving very direct and honest feedback on your business. MOST IMPORTANTLY: You absolutely, positively be willing to TAKE ACTION on what we come up with. In fact: RIGHT NOW – please SCHEDULE time to integrate what we will talk about. And I suggest you schedule that time with someone else. It’s much more likely that you’ll follow through on your commitment to go to the gym if you’ve planned to go with someone else.
Schedule at least two or three hours within 72 hours of our session to take action on these new ideas. The first question out of my mouth will likely be “When have you scheduled your integration time for?”
- You must pay me with TWO Cheques. The first one payable immediately and the second one postdated for up to six months from the date of the session. This is a PWYC payment structure -- this consultation is not FREE. It is absolutely not okay to come and receive but not give back. No minimum, no maximum.
- You must do your homework before you show up. Another reason that I want you to RSVP for your time is that, before you show up, there is some homework that I will want you to do.
Let me rephrase that, there's some homework that I will expect that you do.
If you show up without that homework done, I will ask you to step aside if we’re in person and do it while I work with someone else for the 90 minutes – or call me back when you’re done. If I’m free after that I will see you. If not, you may have to reschedule. There are three reasons I'm asking you to do the homework:
a) First, it will help you be prepared. It will get you in the right mind-set and help to uncover some of the issues that might have been hidden from you. This will help you get the most possible value from our time together.
b) Secondly, it's a test of your commitment. I only want to work with people who are committed to taking action on what they learn.
If somebody isn't willing to do the homework in advance then, to me, it's a clear sign that they aren't going to be committed to implementing what I share with them. I hate being people's "intellectual entertainment".
I’ve given many people the homework who said they were “so committed” and then never heard from them again. Phew. In my mind - this strategy has saved me from wasting many dozens of hours of time.
c) Third, it will save you time. Not only will doing the homework help you receive more from the session but it will also save us time. All of the material I will give you to work on for homework is the stuff that I would want to do with you up front anyway. If you do it before our meeting it allows us to get right down to business.

Two Pieces of Homework To Do Before Your Call:
Before your session you will receive over $50 worth of materials. Specifically there are three files. These are materials I have spent my last three years creating and I suspect they may be of immense value to you.

More about how your payment will work:
First things first: I sincerely want you to pay me based on the value you receive.
If my coaching and consulting helps you make a lot of money, then I invite you to compensate me very well. But if you get very little value from our time together than I would only asked to be paid a very small amount.
But, if we do the consultation in person there could be a high pressure element on YOU couldn’t there? A sense of obligation to pay me lots of money.
An observation: I think it could be very awkward for you to have to pay me immediately at the end of the 90 minute session if we were together in person. After all, imagine that all you thought it was worth was $10. How would you pay me? Would you pull out a $10 bill? Would you write a $10 cheque and fold it hoping that I wouldn't see that small amount until you had left the restaurant?
You feel me?
I don't want you to feel awkward.
So, here's my pressure free proposal: at the end of our time together I will give you my address. After 10 days, you will send me a cheque made out for an amount that you feel honestly reflects the level of value you received (obviously based on what you can afford)

Why I’m asking you to wait 10 days before you pay me . . .
I'm asking you to wait because I honestly want you to apply and test out what I gave you.
It might sound great at the time but then produce few results. It also might sound like the worst idea you've ever heard... until you apply it and increases your cash flow 30% overnight. Good ideas get better over time. Bad ideas get worse. In ten days you’ll know which is which.
Does that make sense?
You probably won't really know if an idea is good or not until you've had some chance to test it out or at least let it roll around in your head. I don't want you to pay me based on some momentary excitement -- I want you to pay me, as much as possible, based on real results.
I think, if you have 10 days to work with the material I give you, you will feel much more comfortable about paying me.
I think if you pay me based on what you truly feel the time was worth then there is no chance for resentment.
I think you'll probably feel very grateful for the chance to decide what it's worth to you.
I think that will result in more goodwill for me and more referrals long term and, if I'm any good, then more business from you.
